Smoke shells

Hi

Just a small question for my mission.
How do you make a helcopter come and land at the spot where you throw a smoke shell.

and if you have a security force who is inserted to cover you extraction how do you make them cover you until all your teams are on choppers and then move back to their chopper and take off

you are actually asking kind of a lot there.  have you read all the related tutorials, command reference and script snippets at the editors depot?  Also, the forum search tool would help you.


For the second one, sync their guard waypoint to either a trigger that will go off when the first team is in chopper or a waypoint it has.

The smoke shell/chopper thing comes up occasionally.     Use the forum search function.   Be persistent - there is stuff there that will help you.    I suspect the eventhandler "fired" comes into it.

For the second one yes, you should control the covering squad with switch triggers.   It will probably help to give them fairly high skill and allowfleeing 0.
