FOUND WAY TO TURN MG LIGHT OFF!!
« on: 28 May 2003, 05:19:52 »
I FOUND A WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  ;D ;D

 Make a script called   anything.sqs

In the init field type
                          [this] exec "anything.sqs"
------------------------------------------------
#A
_this select 0 action ["Light Off"]
goto "A"
---------------------------------------------------
Simple Huh
I just found this out ;D ;D ;D

The reason for this is that the action ["Light Off"] command does work! BUT it only turns off for a very split
sec I found this out by using this tool DL from this sight on the bottom of the screen that allows you to type script in the game and execute it LIVE ITS CALLED
                                             (((console1.21.zip))))
                                    by
Console for OFP by Vektorboson <vektorboson@gmx.de>

JDSH,

Please limit your topic to one board... We are happy that you found out how to turn off the M2 light but you have already posted this answer 5 times on several other posts and boards.

Shouldn't you add a time delay between the label '#A' and the Goto command?

It may crash your OFP, by creating and endless loop...!

#A
_this select 0 action ["Light Off"]
~1
goto "A"

Komuna,

You are probaly right... Every loop script I have seen always has seems to carry a "time delay"

Good catch  ;)
