RSP Elite Force Campaign
« on: 24 May 2003, 17:01:12 »
Hey guys
I'm working on plans for RSP's new campaign, Elite Force.
It's a campaign where you play as a U.S. Navy SEAL, possible an 1SFOD-Delta op. too.
I was wondering whether you think it would be better to have a story line that ties all the missions in together.
Or to have it more realistic, your given an objective because something bads happened. Then you return to base, then you go out on the next assignment your given.
Basically, would a campaign be better, or a mission pack

Campaign, just make the objectives look good, maps good, cutscenes good and have them focus on the player and /  or teamates.

therein lies the problem. with SEAL teams, you have certain teams designated to certain area's of the world. so how our we gonna focus on the players if it changes teams regularly?

Well, true, but make it then a campaign ok.  Make it one seal team and make it focus like on one person.

The problem is when I that campaign editor and made the campaign with one or two of the missions from the custom made island, I went to the campaign section in OFP and selected it and it quit on me.  It gave me some kind of an error.  Now, phantom, did the campaign editor you get from this site work to make a campaign using a custom built island before?
