The difficulty of eject script
« on: 25 May 2003, 00:02:40 »
 >:(It was really hard to make a script that don't kill you parajumpers. The chopper (easier with plane) jump was hard because the standard flying height is too low. When you put it to fly at 200 meters (this flyinheight 200) it is more than enough but still it might not work, because the the chopper misses the waypoint and descends at the same time. When it hits the the waypoint it's usually too low, so the jumpers will die. The only working thing is to put a trigger which is actived by the heli or the side of the heli. I don't explain the details of the jump but I had to use 4 different sources to make it work and mix them. In one the heli was too low, other didn't work at all and the others had the the both problems. If someone wants to ask something you can ask me, but I'm no expert. The faq or other things don't necessarily help you with this eject thing. Or maybe I looked wrong things.

 :hmm:   where's the question?

we're all familiar with how choppers can behave at times, and can sympathize with your problems, but I'm afraid as there is no real question here more of a general comment on your experiences at editing.
