Sub groups
« on: 22 May 2003, 19:37:59 »
Ok, I was thinking about something that would really be a blast for those of us with faster systems. But I think this one isn't going to be easy for you guys, Maybe even impossible! (If that word exists in ofp  ;) )

I'm thinking: Sub groups!  :toocool:

Ok, we all know ofp anly supports 12 units per group. Wich means that a group leader can only be a Lt. or a Sgt.

I bet some of you ppl out there want to be able to work out some real strategies, concerning maybe 122 units!  :wow:

Let's say you're a company captain, (Or staff Lt.) And you've got 11 Sgt's in your company, who in their turn each have 11 privates under them! Is there a way to do that?  ???

Is there a way to somehow link whole groups to the units in your own group, making it possible for you to command the leaders (the sgt's) thus being able to command 121 units! Ufcourse you'd have to operate them without having them walking in your formation ;) otherwise it would be a damn mess! ;D

Well I hope this plan is possible to create, and I hope one of you really talented scripters could take a crack at it!  :help:

I'm nuts, I know ;D
