hey all im new to ofp and have tryed the mission editor but it seems that, if i place my spawn point next to enything (choppter, tent etc) my guy is way off the point when placed same with other items, its like i place something directly near the house wall it will end up south 50m or something wtf is goin on is it a glitch in the game or editor or just a option that aint turned on right lol thx

Hi Aussie :)

Wecome to the wierd, wonderful and most of all stressful world of OFP editing ;D

If u are talking about just placing 2 objects together on the map and they end up apart (which i assume u are because u said u are new) then have you tried zooming the map in?  Use the mouse wheel to zoom in and out!! ;)

Other than that i can't think what the problem is....explain in more detail if that is the case :)

I'd recomend heading over to the editors depot, they have got some great tutorials u should read....i found Johan Gustavson's editing tute and Abuu's guide to editing the most helpful when first starting out....check 'em out!! ;)

Happy editing!! ;D

unfortunately, this is the ofp editor....
if you turn an object, it will almost never just pivot on the original spot.
it's just guess and check.
