NEED SERIOUS HELP w/ WAYPOINTS

When I add waypoints, they never show up, only when I am in a helicopter. I tried doing what another tutorial said which was to set dificulty to Veteran but I think it just switched back to Cadet mode automatically. I am so stuck and I need to make this work because I am designing a mission for my social studies project. Please help, I will be entirely grateful. -bry

You need to be in Cadet mode for them to show up. Did you try exporting the mission to singleplayer and playing it, or did you only preview the mission in the editor?

You can select three options for waypoints (never shown, only shown in Cadett Mode, anad always shown).
Try "always" shown.

Then export your mission as singleplayer and try it in the game (not in the preview).

for some reason my game is being dumb and not letting me save missions. i just ordered Game of the Year tho, so i'll try then. thanks for your help guys (or girls)

That only has to do with viewing the waypoint lines on the map page. Toadeater is right. You should see waypoints when previewing from the editor, after you've loaded it in a regular game. You also have to be in cadetmode or in a vehicle.

1 WPs are not seen many times when you preview your mission. It should be solved if you export the mission and play it from the "single Mission" menu

2 you have to delete the mission file from your HD before exporting it again. And I think to do it you have to exit OFP. Another way is to export the file with a different name every time.

Go to the main menu, select a single mission and select Cadet.  You don't have to play the mission.  

Now go back to the mission editor and preview your mission.   You should see the waypoints.
