Which war (better not be WWI, cos that would be harsh considering ANZAC day has just past)? gulf war take 2, scene 1? Well, theres that camera man. Plus we only sent over 2000, so that lessens the chance. And they were all elte SAS (although all our soldiers are elite).

lol, the SAS were the smallest part, what you wrote says that there were 2000 SAS over there, which is hard when the force is only 250 strong.

Yes, no-one died. And on another note, 10 SAS soldiers have died in combat since the group were started in the 50's.

The majority of the 2000 strong contribution were logistics, intel & comms, SAS, pilot's, RAN commitments (Ship support, Clearance Diver Teams) and the people that keep the pilot's in the air.

and i don't think it really makes if difference when you bring up australian war commitments, we all know it happened, if you were having a shot at them, it'd be a whole other thing.
