bouncy

ok this has been bugging me for quite some time now, and to tell the truth i don't even know if it can be fixed with a script, but heres the problem anyways....
When i have a plane or helicopter shot down or crash in general, it does this incredibly annoying bounce, and i know it does it in everyones, its really bad if it hits water, cuz then u have the bouncing noise and the splashing- is there anyway to make the plane impact and stop moving, i had an idea that you might have it crash and on impact remove it and place burning wreckage, however that involves making a new wreck model and im a noob at things like that....and lazy so its not happening.....so that sai is there anyway to correct this problem?

Thanks

well since the ground in ofp cannot be dented, I think that if a plane crashed into a surface like that in real life, it would bounce. The ofp physics engine is extremely accurate!

true things wuld bounce if they remained solid, but an impacting plane more or less disintegrates on impact, therefore doesnt bounce, it may scatter debris, but not bounce, i think  this is a flaw overlooked too much, i only wish i wasnt so lazy and un- eager to learn so i could think of ways to fix it, but since nobody else has any ideas i suppose i just have to live with it,
Thanks,
