Title change...
« on: 30 Aug 2002, 09:46:45 »
Hello all,

I have noticed that some missions have their own custom names instead of 'Get ready...' with the date, time. While the game loads.

Now, How do you change the 'Get ready...' to your own custom setting?
i.e. Operation Blitz
     Day,Month,Time.

Thanks in advance... :joystick: :hmm: :help:

It is a entry in the description.ext file.

onLoadIntro="...loading intro..."
onLoadMission="...loading mission..."

simply write that in a file and save it as description.ext
in the mission directory.

when the ofpec site is online again look in the tutorial area.
there are all entrys in this file explained.

Thank you JamesX,

Unfortunately, I have created the 'description.ext' and typed in those informations precisely. But no joy.  :-[

I will wait for the site to be back up to check it out.

Thanks again.

I had a strange problem with this after buying reistance.  All my missions I previously made use:

OnLoadMission="XXXX"

and they still work, but any new missions I made like this crash back to the desktop.  Weird.

Haven't tried Cedaie's idea yet, why would that work instead?

having this in my description.ext file worked fine...

Code: [Select]
onLoadMission="[STO] Flight School (Fundamentals) - by Col Solarix";
