Ai chopper groups

Ok, I have this 5 Artificial Idiocy choppers group. They have to fly through some WPs. Guess what? 5 starts and 1 to 4 arrive. Why? Because the missing ones have collided somewhere during the flight. They make turns, one to the left and one the right and you can guess what happens. Is that possible? Are they so stupid?

Yes.

I would suggest as few WPs as possible ... but no sharp turns. :P   Playing with formation in the waypoints might help, but the standard solution is to have each chopper in its own group, so you can control them more precisely.
Plenty of reviewed ArmA missions for you to play

I'm surpriced that only 1 of the choppers doesn't make it..  ::)

I suggest everything you do with choppers is run through a script.

Instead of waypoints use the move command.

Instead of a group of 5 choppers use 5 groups of 1 chopper.

And then the ultimate anti-collidorxzon: The flyinheight command.
In your script put
chopper1 flyinheight 60
chopper2 flyinheight 80
and so on.

that's what i made and now it works, but, you know, every command must be given five times now... :)

I used only 1 wp, the choppers collide when they reach the dest and they turn to take position :)
