cadetmode and setcaptive
« on: 16 Apr 2003, 12:29:29 »
When you use setcaptive some n00bs will play in Cadet Mode and your guys will be blue on the map. This will make the map a little more boring cause you know that yer guys are setcaptive and you can send em in and not worry to get themself killed. If you donÂ't know that they are setcaptive like in Veteran Mode you wouldnÂ't do this kind of action and the player will get more entertainment out of it. ShouldnÂ't it be possible to in cadet mode disable the blue markers and switch them to green/red but they are still setcaptive with some kinda script?

If you're using setcaptive (i mean you the mission editor),
then it's up on a reason with an explanation. If you the mission
maker makin it possible to send the true sette'd captives into
enemy lines, then it's your fault.

I really can't see a reason why you might come in the need to
change the blue markers into green ones here.
