EDIT: It don't matter what its called i just called it funfolder

so no u don't need to name it wav2lip wavetolip or wave2wolip

cheers  ;)
Okay, now you've mannaged to get my full attention :P. So it's not the name after all, but rather the directory in which it is placed. In other words, the problem is that it must be in C:, or in a subfolder to C:/?
hmm, that would exlain some of the problems I had in getting my wav2lip.exe to work.
hmm, interesting, or, in keeping with my member name, facinating;)

  OK..

It takes alot of guts to ask this..

Are you sure that the program that you are not trying to drag the file over is not a Shortcut... you know .. has the little arrow on it and all..  You did cut and paste the file into a new folder...

Ummm... yeah I did it... and I feel like a jacka$$... ahh..come on you can't tell me you have at least once..

I know that XP and 98 are ALOT different but I solved my problem by looking on here and getting the advice that they gave... yeah I double posted..

Anyway.. I also had a problem with Windows 2000 and the Wav2Lip files.. 2000 wouldn't do it.  When you looked at the properties 2000 was changing some info about the files and the Wav2Lip program didn't like it.  I had some files from another program that I 'borrowed' and 2000 would lip 'em with no problem... but the ones that I made it didn't like so I had to have a duel boot system and transfer them back to 98 and switch them there and send em back.. quite a pain... but it worked..  I am not sure that this is any kind of a solution but it might add some insight... for someone that knows what the he[[ they are talking about...cause obviously I don't... ;)

   Good Luck and Happy OFPEC'ing.
