« on: 14 Apr 2003, 15:23:07 »
I'm a cheesy scripter!  >:( In fact I don't don't know how to do it!  :-\Do someone know out there how the hell I can make a plane take off ???
And how do I script for a unit to turn its lights on???

I appreciate any kind of help
...and ofcourse I'll share my missions with anyone. (Once they are finished!)

no scripting needed...

place the plane facing south on the taxiway of the airport, or facing north on the runway.... it will take off.

as for lights - make sure it is in safe or careless mode... and it needs to be dark  ;)

This only works for the runways in the north of Everon or Malden, or the desert on in the southwest of Nogova.

And you may need to give it some waypoints.    I have a feeling that no matter where you place it on the airfield, it will work out what to do.     Placement as Messiah says is best though.
Plenty of reviewed ArmA missions for you to play

Thanx a lot guys! I thought it would have been possible to land or takeoff a plane from any flat surfaces!!! Damn! I guess I'm gonna have to replane the entire mission! :'(
