Centering the map
« on: 08 Apr 2003, 22:11:04 »
I find it hard to believe I can't find anything searching for "map center" or "center map" or "centering the map".

I'm curious if there's a way to recenter the map. When moving entire sides (like in CTI) it would be nice if the map centered on where you are rather than where you were before being moved.

Also would be handy to know if it's possible to zoom the map out/in via script.

thanks,
Plaz

thanks for your reply. trying reading the question next time!

Asked if it is possible via script. I know how to move the map with the mouse and zoom in/out keys. How did your reply answer any of my questions?

Found an answer in the form of the MapAnim command:

I had thought MapAnim was a kind of animation on the map not moving it.
