Putting Machine Gunner on Roof Top Help! Please!

If anyone knows how to put a Machine gunner (M2) on a rooftop Please let me know.
I appreciate any help on this.

put the following line in the init box of the object/player you want to raise or lower in height


this setpos [getpos this select 0, getpos this select 1,5]



5= height,
Negative number sinks it
Positive number = Above ground

Getting the correct height adjustment is trial and error

I find its easier to set the height much too high first then keep adjusting it down, because then the object doesnt get in the way - for a small house about 50, a block of flats/ whatever 100 / 150

I have something written down that I have kept from the very begining.  I dont know if it is "out of date"  but I will but it up anyway.




Init:

this setpos [(getpos this select 0),(getpos this select 1), 5 ];


All you need to do is change the BOLD variable to whatever you want.  The higher the number, the higher it goes.

Remember it doe not need to be 1 2 3 4 5 numbers,
you can also do : 2.7 or something for exact measure.



BTW:  Do not space the ending..  I just did that so the forums can read it correctly
