What is the most popular desert island/unit addon?

Not quite sure about the most popular desert addon but the best desert addon are from MAF

yes. MAF did make the best desert addons. No contest there.

His textures are superb.

I used to follow MAF news like anything

this is what i know they were making/made

they made iraqi troops these looked awsome they were reskins of the BIS troops but this was before O2 was released
iraqi btr-152
Tow missle system
HUMVEE pack with weapons
82AB division
Desert Humvee
M1A1- 24th ID (desert) including crew
M1A1- 1st CAV (NATO) this is the best tank reskin in the world including crew
Iraqi T72- desert
Iraqi Shilka
M163- 24 ID
M113
They also promised to update their 82AB but his hasn't been done either

MAF and MAA did make the best, but they really didn't half to update the soldiers, i wish they continued and made some iraqis and some more nice vehicals

I think GalComT's desert addons are amongst the best out there right now.

His update is going to be fantastic. Also some of OPGWC's addons are quite good (UH1N, F-15,Challenger etc).
As for pre resistance addons, there is no competition when it comes to MAF's addons
