Well.. here's the simplest way I can think of....

make yourself a radio trigger......     say Radio Alpha....   size can be 0X0

now place a backup squad that you will be calling in...  give em a waypoint where they will hold to wait for the radio signal.....  and then synch that waypoint with the trigger you made ;)

now.. continue making the waypoints you want....

in game.. the AI will proceed to the waypoint that is synched to the trigger, and then will not "see" the next waypoint until the trigger goes off.....

you  can synch multiple waypoints to the same radio trigger.....  thus calling in any number of squads/choppers/armor with the same radio trigger

ooooooohhhhhhhh there are so many ways to answer this question.      You could search the FAQ - its probably there.     If you search the forum it is there, many, many times.    In the Ed depot you will find it in several tutorials.    The only one I can guarantee that its in is the Tutorial Mission, which has an example of a radio call for chopper anti tank support.   For a chopper extraction or getting other ground units to move up the principles are identical.

While you're at it, take a look at the sticky at the top of this board. ;)

Edit:  or you can read Kali's post ;D
