100% working Global Variable Vehicle Respawn Method

Hi everyone, to save time ill send you to my webpage.  www.backoff.ch/ofp  Now when you get there go into the scripts section and under there you will find a link for the demo mission for this discovery. It isnt that hard when you know how, the method is rather time consuming BUT i plan on fine tuning it into one or 2 scripts some day, ATM this method requires NO SCRIPTING. Thats correct, Even novice scripters can make missions now with respawnable vehicles.

This is my first script release since the olden days when I released the not so good VR.sqs (vehicle respawn script). This is alot more advanced (and actually works.LoL).

Please feel free to put coments, flames etc in this thread. I would love to hear from all of you on this method and if you are going to use it in its current form.

P.S. There is a way to copy and paste these triggers and gamelogic that are required for the respawning. There is alot of code etc that is required for each individual vehicle.
SO the way you get around this is by copying the first vehicles triggers and gamelogic you have completed and know that respawns etc 100%.

then open up the mission.sqm (back it up if your not confident of this)

then go to EDIT-->Replace, then type in the find what section the name of the vehicle that is in the game already, then go to the replace with field and type in the new name of the vehicle. Save your SQM

Now you have put in the new vehicle, what you do next is LOAD the mission again. (I always forget to do this part.) Once loaded you can safely paste your original vehicle back into the map and save it. The repeat the process.


 I know people will be making this into scripts left right and center, the reason I have done this this way is to give newer members of the community something so they can hopefully learn from and use in there missions while learning what everything does. You dont learn anything if you ue someone elses script that does all this for you. I hope some of the newer members can find this easy to implement into there missions. Only time will tell.
