Screenshots
« on: 14 Mar 2003, 15:34:52 »
I have a problem. I want to take screenshots to put in by briefings, overviews, briefings and so on. When i use the "Prt Scr" i can paste the picture in Paint, but i cant get the correct format. I know that it must be 64x64, 128x64.......

Is there a easy way to get the pictures in right size? Or is it any programs?

In Paint click on Image - Attributes and select the size you want (in pixels).    Microsoft photo editor has a similar function and I presume other graphics programmes do too.

Although the image has to be saved with sides a power of 2, the actual picture in the overview can be any size you want.    Therefore, create the picture that you actually want with the dimensions you actually want.     Then you can distort it to save it.

e.g. say you want 170x64

- create a nice picture 170x64
- distort to 256x64 and save
- in the overview define the size as 170x64

hope that helps.    Create a border yourself or borrow one from an existing mission.

Plenty of reviewed ArmA missions for you to play
