« on: 06 Mar 2003, 17:02:05 »
I know i can use texview for changing jpgs to pacs, but what can i use for creating pacs to jpgs? I cant open pacs in photoshop.
Btw I need this as i am trying to create some custom faces and i cant do it if i dont have a template face to show me where the hair line stops, where the face starts, where the hands are, side of head ect.
Any help will be much appreciate :D
Oh yeah im new to these forums too. ;D

erm. Just use textview.

Save As and then I think you have to type in the .tga / .jpg

Mess about with texview you can deffo use it - its been that long since I edited someone elses textures that I can't remember exactly how.

Hmmm... If I remember right you can only save paa's or pac's to tga with TexView? ??? Can't remember though. After you have saved it as tga you can convert it to jpg with Photoshop 7 or PSP or any other painting/picture editing program that supports tga. But if you want to modify the textures you don't have to convert it to jpg since you can edit the tga just like jpg. :) I hope this is what you were looking for... :P ;D
