Verson 1.90???

HELP!!!!!!!!

i am completley confused.

I have operation flashpoint COLD WAR CRISIS, and want to make a mission containg an F/A-18. I found many but they all say they need Verson 1.90

I downloaded verson 1.90, and tried to install it. But it came up with some error like: "Flashpoint not installed" when it WAS installed. Then i read somthing about 1.90 being for a diffrent verson of flashpoint, operation flashpoint GAME OF THE YEAR. What is the differance between OFP CWC and OFP GOTY?? Is there any way i can get this 1.90 patch to work???

1st :   You need Operation Flashpoint Resistance or GOTY editions to use 1.90...

2nd:  This isn't really a technical questions forum...  This type of stuff is best asked at the official forums located at www.flashpoint1985.com  (they have a troubleshooting and question section for this stuff)

P.S>  In the readme for V1.90 it states that these versions of Operation Flashpoint are needed..  Readme's have an interesting way of not being read sometimes....

Is the message that you receive if you have an illegal copy of the game.
I'm not suggesting that you do, but if you do, then it's because of that  :-\

Also I don't know how it is with 1.90 patch but I have upgraded my ofp with every update there is, starting from the first and moving on to the newest. Like from 1.0 to 1.1 then 1.3 then 1.46 then 1.75 then 1.85 and finally 1.90.

Like Asmodeus said you need resistance to use ver 1.90, the highest you can get with the original cwc is version 1.46 so your screwed unless you spend £15  :-\
