Support and AI

A support Question:

If i have a russian ai group and put on f.ex a bmp with support waypoint on it. Do the ai call it in if needed or do i have to give the ai some commands? You see i know they call in a bmp medic type. But the standard bmp is not a support unit unless you tell it to be right???

Thx in advance.....

:)

"Support" in the context of a waypoint means logistic support.    And in fact the support vehicles will move to other parts of the map even if they are on some other waypoint types.

If you want a bmp or whatever to move to attack the enemy put it on a GUARD waypoint.

No, I don't think so ..... an ambulance bmp will, but an ordinary bmp won't.
