Homefry is right, you don't need any scripting commands. You can do the whole thing with waypoints and one trigger.
You don't even need a variable, although that is a perfectly good way of doing it. Create a trigger around Guba, activation West present. Synchro the trigger (in Synchro mode F5, drag & drop a blue line) with Guba's last waypoint before the Getin one. Make sure the trigger is type Switch. He will stay at that waypoint until the trigger is fired, then he will move on.
That last waypoint could be Hold (if you wanted him standing still), Seek and Destroy (if you wanted him running around) or Cycle (if you had a little "patrol" route for him to do).
