Altitude

What is the ceiling on altitude.  I have read that helicopters max out more than planes.  Is this true.  And what is the maximum ceiling number I can use for aircraft in the game.

Really, if you put yer plane/chopper up at max height and YOU were the pilot,
the game would start getting boring if you had 'a fly all the way down manually

Heh.. General Goober... Just wondering... Have you tried just setting it to 1000000000 ft?      It could possibly be that they set it up to where if you set it to more than possible it would just go the highest possible height?  

Just pure speculation on my part..  

Have you tried the obvious thing and taken a chopper up, up and away?  Making yourself higher and higher until you feel like the Tombmonster over there??       ;D

I'm willing to bet it's plenty high for any purposes in OFP that I can think of.  (I've never hit the ceiling and I've been reeeeeeally high)

I believe there's this loop function activating when ya reach the one of the cube's sides.
(if its a cube, that is)

like when I fly a chopper as close to the surface as possible, chasing that dayum escaping pig of a V80-pilot, then it sure feels like I hit some sort of a loop at the end of the race.... don't even know if this is possible, so its pure speculation
