forests?
« on: 23 Aug 2002, 06:44:51 »
im curious what results i get with these forest objects

les_ctverec = in the editor the trees all look 2d and flat. are these the forests you use for running through?

les ctverec dark = is this a solid brush or do i use this for forests that can be walked though?

les_su_ctvar = same as above?

what i want to know is what objects do i use for enterable forests?

Well Fox, here's what I use for my Forests:
square part 1   data3d\les ctverec pruchozi_t1.p3d
square part 2   data3d\les ctverec pruchozi_t2.p3d
Forest - triangle   data3d\les trojuhelnik pruchozi.p3d

And for the type you can find on Malden use these:

data3d\les_su_ctver_pruhozi_t1.p3d
data3d\les_su_ctver_pruhozi_t2.p3d
data3d\les_su_trojuhelnik.p3d

About objects appearing flat in the WrpEdit preview window, I have seen this too.. and usually fixes itself when you get it in game.... I know this is true for bushes at least

I use-
Data3D\les ctverec.p3d          and
Data3D\les trojuhelnik pruchozi.p3d
They both follow the ground and can be used to walk threw.
