Exactly, when it fires or miliseconds afterwards, and the effect wouldnt last very long maybe a second or half a second, but the debris , such as gravel and dust in the general vicinity of the tank or artillery piece is effected. And yes I can most definitley
wait a week or so for an effect script such as this, I figure between the heli dust and the big guns with shock waves it just keeps getting better and better.
The smaller artillery would produce smaller radius shockwave
I'm sure you know this already, I've only seen them on footage of artillery strikes and tanks firing but I've got the idea of what they look like. sounds like the rest of these fellows have seen em also so just ask anyone , or go rent a couple movies with
footage in them, for one I would suggest HEARTBREAKRIDGE
with "Clint EASTWOOD" after that I'm not sure but theres a lot of good examples on cable TV here in the states such as the HISTORY of WAR and THE WORLD AT WAR
