Important CutScene Info needed

Ok here we go...............I did a search (as usual) and didn't find nuttin.


In my cut scene in the Wun Hung Lo Assasination, my 2 man sniper team goes to the 1st objective, then if they do well it goes into a cut scene, NOW, I have them time lapse to the base (for less time for mission) and when they get there they are at the base tents with the flag and the Commander lip.file's the job well done and then the cam goes to the 2 (Sniper and Spotter) and they salute...........The prob is they salute real fast..........I need them to salute until the Commander talks again, about 5 secs.


Is it like  .......  Snipe1 EffectStandSalute,5?

Check out the PlayMove command, a list of moves can be found at http://www.ofpec.com/yabbse/index.php?board=6;action=display;threadid=3249

I'm not sure if salute is in there, but it should be.

Also http://www.flashpoint1985.com/docs/comref_102002/data/comref.html may be of some use to you.

Another thing you could do is decrease the time ratio and lower the length of the commander speaking, this would make it seem that they were holding the salute for longer. This probably won't work if you're synchronizing the commander's lips to what he's saying. (If you are, consider an over-the-shoulder shot of the 2 snipers from behind the commander so you won't notice the mouth moving out of synch if it does... I have never messed with lipsynching.)

Ok, yet another thing you could do is switchMove. switchMove just hops right to the animation, instead of fluidly transitioning from current to desired animation.

Do something like
sniper1 switchMove whateversaluteis
~5 (or however long it actually lasts, maybe a second shorter)
sniper1 switchMove whateversaluteis
~5

repeat until the sniper is 'holding' the salute the entire time.
