Got three Q´s!
« on: 31 Jan 2003, 18:44:45 »
Alright then, IÂ'm making Vietnam mission (surprise??) and I got a three questions. (I use the SEBnamPack2)

1. How can I get my ARA huey to fly over some area and shoot in the ground? I need ARA for support.

2. I need more flute music, like in Platoon. Very mysterious music.

3. Same as Q 1. but I need to get mortar to shoot around the area.

Thanks in advance!

1)  place an object on the ground, or below the ground and use this in a trigger:

chopper dotarget object;  chopper dofire object

where chopper is the name of your bird, and object is whatever he's shootin at ....

(this may or may not work with the chopper)

2)Uhh.....  add custom music....   there are tutes.... and a whole board of the forums dedicated to sound and cutscenes ;)

3) camcreate the shells

trigger:

bomb1="Heat120" camcreate getpos obj

where obj is the spot where you want the shell to appear....
( you can use any object , or a game logic point )

I was wondering, can that ARA huey shoot like invisible HÂ's or summin. Or should it be enemy unit?

2. I know how to add music but I canÂ't find flute music :(

3. I meant thos SEBnampack2 mortars, can they shoot target that they donÂ't see?

Flute Music?

hmm

Try using a search engine like www.Overture.com
and search for Flute music there

then get a converter and convert the MP3 or Wav to .OGG format and since you know how to put the music in then after that should be a no brainer

just search the net for key words like "Flute Music" or something chances are you will find a site full of downloadable music files!

i use DBPower AMP Music Converter for converting MP3 or Wav music to OGG for my missions
