BAS...CH47...moving about aircraft

 8) Firstly, great work on all of your add-ons thus far.

I was able to view a 12 sec. preview of a player being able to move about a flying CH47. I must ask, how did ya do it? Will you be hosting a Tutorial or two on how you were able to overcome the "limitations" of the game engine.

I sincerely hope this is something that, if I may be so bold, will be shared...

im sure they used setpos to get the vehicles/units in the already flying chinook. if you move with something inside of it. it goes right through them and the thing that was inside just sits there floating a meter above ground in the last position it was in before the helo took off.

urgh... answers this question for the 100th time...

right: if you get in the mh-47 as cargo, and allow the helicopter to get up to height, and stop, it MUST be completely still, then you can get out, and walk around in it...

ATM we are working[/u] on a script that allows you to grab on to the helo, and move with it until it is safe to let go...
