Music problem for island anim folder
« on: 26 Jan 2003, 15:08:11 »
Hi everybody, i've got a small problem which i'm hoping someone here will be able to solve ???

I've re-textured Kolgujev as a desert island and everything to do with that is working fine, i've got the anim folder so you get to look at something in the main menu, again that works fine.

The problem is i want some custom music playin in the background. i can get my track in the editor when playin the intro but when i put the intro folder into the anims folder  the music doesn't play it just comes up with "Music ** not found"

pls help this is driving me mad

Hello Soul Catcher

I think the problem is in description.ext. If the path in description.ext points to folder where your music file was previously (before you move it to anims folder), the program won't find it. Path should point exactly there where is your music file. Try to change command line in description.ext a bit and see if it works...

I've tried repeatedly changing the path for the music file but it still says "music Burn not found". This is really p*****g me off as far as i can tell it's all fine (i've been editing with OFP since the day it came out) but obviously something isn't right.

It doesn't seem to be a problem with the description .ext as the file will work in the editor no matter what path i put in.

Has anyone else used any custom music on a custom island ? if so i would really appreciate some help as this is the last thing that doesn't work. If it will help i'll attach my .ext to a message so somebody might be able to have a look.
