Argh! I've downloaded the files but I get a message saying "No suitable decompressor could be found". I've got the latest version of WinMedia player (according to the auto update anyway) so whats the problem?

I really want to make my own island!

Hey SFG,

I have got a hold of your texture tutorial from another site and it was very well done.
The ones in this post seem to be down are your tutorials hosted on another site?

If people are having some difficulty viewing the videos or downloading the codec here are some links that will help you out:

http://www.blazemp.com - Blaze Media Pro is the best media player ever. It lets you play lots of different media formats and high frequency formatted media files. Not only can you view and listen to media but you can convert videos and music to most media formats even Vorbis OGG for all you editors out there  8)

http://nimo.titanesk.com/modules/freecontent/index.php?id=2 - Nimo Codec Pack. This handy little installer gives you nearly all the codec in the world. There is ONE codec that makes your codec pack not work, though all you need to do is reinstall it until you find the one that makes your program not work. Pick the "Build 9 Beta 1" pack.

And if you need more. go to google and search for "DivX codec" and "Xvid codec". My theory is that these seprate programs are made by the same person  8)

Enjoy.

PS.. would it not be better converting your videos into wmx format? to save megabytes?
