fo_Ot steps suxsound

i am actually editing a desert map but the foot steps sound like the guy walking in water ,how can i fix that ?

Have you selected all cells from the Edit Menu and pressed the default button on the Flags Tab.

This sets the default flags for all the terrain cells.
