Splinter Cell Stealth Gear and Weaponry
« on: 28 Jan 2003, 08:44:24 »
I have a few addons ideas I think would fit in OFP like a hot knife through butter...

Here are a few examples of the Stealth Gear, and the Weaponry...

[shadow=red,left,300]The Suit[/shadow]

I love this suit, the straps around hisbody, the Vest type upper area, it's just a great suit!

[shadow=red,left,300]The Goggles[/shadow]

Night Vision Headset
Night Vision goggles amplify very low existing light, especially lights at the lower end of the infrared spectrum.
Thermal Vision Headset
Similar to Night Vision, Thermal vision is an essential tool in low light situations. This technology differs from night vision in that it captures the upper level of the infrared light spectrum, which is emitted as heat rather than reflected as light.

I don't exactly know if the "heat" vision is possible, but I am sure there can be some sort of color disortion trick for the goggles

[shadow=red,left,300]5.72 mm SC Pistol
[/shadow]

The 5.72mm SC Pistol tactical model with single-action trigger and a 20-round magazine comes equipped with a silencer/flash suppressor. Its 5.72mm SC Pistol rounds offer good penetration against modern body armor, while keeping the weapons' weight, dimensions, and recoil at reasonable levels.

[shadow=red,left,300]5.56mm SC-20K AR[/shadow]

The bull pup configuration of this assault rifle makes it light and compact without sacrificing firepower (5.56x45mm ss109). Its modular configuration allows it to be customized to fit any mission profile. Equipped with a flash/sound suppresser and combined with a multipurpose launcher, the 5.56mm SC-20K ARbecomes the obvious choice of weaponry for Sam when infiltrating enemy territory.
Note: Because of the more overt nature of the 5.56mm SC-20K AR, it will only be acquired after a few missions-when the situation requires it…
Sniper Mode: Sniper mode is only available with the 5.56mm SC-20K AR

The good thing is, it's a Tom Clancy type addon, which means realistic-ness is not a problem ;)

If anybody likes the idea, and would like to create this addon in OFP, by my guest, bu if nobody maes it, then I and a few others will!
So help me out with my project ::)

I have a rotation 360 video of Sam Fisher's gear!
So blueprint won't be a problem!

It probably is,

just like in Goldeneye, the © keeps everybody from getting the real deal names...

for ex: the AK47- Soviet, it's just suppose to be AK 47
            The PP7, and almost every other gun in Goldeneye
            was named diffrently.
