Hilighting areas to edit
« on: 27 Jan 2003, 19:30:54 »
Hello, new WRPEdit user here. Question on hilighting areas to edit.

I know that to change an elevation of the map you have to click on the corners of the grid that I want to change and go into landscape and raise or lower the altitude. I would like to know is, is it possible to click and hilight an area that will select those grid corners as a group so I can change the terrain for a large area. I have tried ctrl-shift to hilight but Im not sure what that area does. As far as altitude goes the hilighted box allows me to change the 4 corners of the box but not all of the grid points within the box.
Or am I destined to have to click on each grid corner one by one to change an altitude. Thanks for the help.

Using Ctrl-Shift to highlight an area and changing the height of that area, will change all the points within the area also.

You can now get a manual and tutorial on this site.

Look in the Editors Depot.......Tutorials.......Third Party Tools.
