I was watching the recent James bond movie, and then it got to that part with the hovercraft and the killing and the death and the etc etc


anyway, to cut a long film short, whaddabout hovercraft in opflash? They would be really cool land + water skimmers, equipped with mounted machine guns etc...., and u could have invasions from sea like BMPs etc

I realise they would be REALLY hard to make, what with the weird physics etc and general 'floating' idea, but they would be REALLy cool

wat about a script to simulate that? Im sure u could do it through a script or have a transparent model to half of the moddel, and then have the skirt on top of that transparent model, to make it look like its hovering, but to make it go on land and water at great speeds, hmmmn, maybe a script, but i don't know. Im sure 1 of these days we'll see 1 that works, who knows maybe BIS will make one like they made the pistols to work and the Motorcycle.

ive seen some hover craft on some site a while back cant recall if they were finished or what site it was on but i know sum 1 is making 1

I have also seen some body make a hovercraft.
But coudent you make it like a APC it both float and drive on land.

the physics would have to be change too to simulate the sort of floating feeling on land etc .... apparantly hovercraft are commonly used in these modern times, so it'd be pretty cool to have a mission involving them

This is VERY much possible.  Look at Sebastion Muller's Star Wars speeder bike for a vehicle that acts like a hovercraft (and a very good add-on as well)
