Campaign data / OFP Splash screen
« on: 15 Jan 2003, 20:58:55 »
I'm trying to make a persistant campaign, but how on earth do you go about keeping your weapons and status from one mission to the next? They did it in Resistance campaign and I've looked at their campaign structure, but still cant figure it out  ???

Also, is there a way to not get that anoying introduction screen to show up when you run OFP? Maybe a command line argument? It annoys the hell out of me.

Here's the command but I don't know how it works..

addMagazinePool Null

Operand types:
Null: Array
Type of returned value:
Nothing
Description:
Adds count magazines of type name into weapon pool (used in campaign to transfer weapons into next mission).

About the splashscreen I use an OFP starter for OFP1.46 & OFP 1.90

I found it here : http://ofp.gamezone.cz/index.php?sekce=utilities
New OFP Launcher

Don't mention the error when you start this tool for the first time, you have to choose a path first where your OFP is located on your HD...after that it work with charm :)

The easier answer to McHale's second question without having to use any third party tools is to add -nosplash at the end of the execution line for your OFP shortcut.  It's in one of the tutorials if you search.  ;D

McHale please choose one forum to post your question in... otherwise we end up with the same question running around in multiple threads
