I was looking for some military sounds mostly or other that can be used for ambience, especially a radio ambient sound and single shot sounds. wavcentral does look nice so far tho.

they have pretty decent gunshot sounds. I wouldn't use any of the others though. But it's free so what the heck

Just take a microphone go outback shoot a gun then get a radio make the hiss download them to your computer and viola Original Sound. I found sounddogs to have good gunshots for a free site. but if you want good sounds I recommend that you find a pay site and give em a few dollars because they sound much better.
