How did you...
« on: 05 Jan 2003, 08:38:53 »
So how did everyone get good at editing? Was it long hours of practice and patience (ich...),
or was everybody naturals?

Becuz this is probably not on topic, even if it IS about editing and how to be better, I'll ask a question  ;D
I have this script called ambush.sqs and i call it in the mission via trigger with [] exec "ambush.sqs". Its
saved in the mission with all documents with the sqs extension. Anybody know the anwser to my noob question?

Well.. this is off topic.. you're right about that much...

but to answer your question before this gets locked...

The best way IMO to get better at editing is to  grab every tutorial you can find.. and get a copy of the command reference

For us to answer the question you need to ask one.  So far youve made two statements about this Ambush.sqs.  Is there a question that goes with them?

nope... just a thinly veiled attempt at keeping a non-editing related thread from becoming locked Icky... ::)

his real Q was "So how did everyone get good at editing? Was it long hours of practice and patience (ich...),
or was everybody naturals?"

For me its all genetic.  I was grown in a bathtub, sunk in genetic juices that empowered me with past and future knowledge.  Luckily, flashpoint editing was in that juice.
