MP40 - FA
MP44 - SA & FA
M1A1 - SA & FA

Theres no "burst" function... just set it on FA and tap the trigger...

Where the hell you need the burst function anyway? The gun doesn't use up the whole magazine with one quick squeeze

Thorne is exactly right, and think about it - you can fire single shots whith just about all the weapons made for OFP even on full auto just by clickin' the mouse fast enough, it's not hard. I really don't see the point of a burst mode except to achieve a higher fire rate without possible damage by constant use at such a rate. eg AN-94 has a 2 shot burst that fires almost double the rate of the auto setting. I think this would be why the R/L Thomson only had semi and auto - squeze the trigger for a second and what do you get? A BURST  :o

actually thats 3 times...

the 2-round burst has a ROF of 1800, and the FA ROF is 600
so...

1800/600 = 3

 ;)

AN-94 = 1337 h4x0r 4554UL7 R1FL3

I just want to point out to you guys that its not good to use the word "burst" except when talking about actual burst mode for example the 'three round Burst'

I can take an M60 Machine gun.. and just squease the trigger for little less then a second to get a burst.. but thats not burst mode.. thats Fully automatic.. becaus if you hold down the trigger you keep fireing..

A burst mode is when you can hold down the trigger for well over 5 seconds but still only shooting 3 rounds the whole time..

Using Fully Automatic for Fully Automatic, Single Shot or Semi auto for Single shot or Semi Auto and Burst for # round burst mode is less confusing :)

Yes the Thompson is Semi Auto and Fully Auto.. and we'll be doing the M1928 version too.. the tommy gun..  :) and yes it will have a drum magazine as an special magazine :D

Cheers
Joe

Hmm, in my opinion, a burst is a burst. You can fire a burst of rounds. Or you can fire # rounds in burst fire mode.

If everyone just remembers to put that extra "mode" in burst fire mode everyone would understand ;D
