A question about AI pilots

I've made this script to do max power takeoffs, which work fine for the player, and even AI cars.  But the AI pilots wont do anything.  They wait until the takeof script ends, then taxi slowly to the centre of runway and takeoff normally.  Sometimes they dont even do that.  Can this be disabled or something?
