View through Sniper Scope

My 1st post, wondering how to do the following:

a. Sniper (resistance sniper rifle) ontop of tower, aiming at a moving civilian. Camera angle through scope (i.e cross-hairs) following civilian's movement

b. Sniper fires after short pause and civilian...err...dies! Also seen from perspective of cross-hairs.

  This is FAR too complicated for me, but I thought some1 here might be able to do it!  Sorry if put this in wrong forum, I'm new to scripting and this website, but your tutorials are v. helpful!  :)

go to da TUT zone in da editors depot - in da cutscense part dere is somthin called switchcamera TUT by lilmat (n me ;D) - it have all u need  :P  ;D

I found the script, which is just what I want....but the sniper does not target the civilian when I use 'dotarget' in script.

Basically u see the ground through the sniper scope until the sniper gets the command 'dofire' when the sniper jerks his gun up and shoots the civilian. There is no bit in-between when the sniper 'follows' the civilian's movement with his scope....he just targets him and fires at the last moment

This probably sounds really complicated, but could some1 give me a few ideas on how to 'see' the civilian through the scope before he gets shot, instead of the ground!

Perhaps it would be better if I put the script I am using up: I must warn u though that it is 1 of the 1st scripts me ever used, so most of it is probably garbage!

Basically I want 'snip' to target 'c1' through scope before he shoots him, i.e I can see the civilian through the gun sights

i think (nothing 4 sure) dat ur main prob is dat da civilian is not enemy  :-X so da sniper dont realy wanna target him  :o - tru editing da mission.sqm file nd making his side da enemy side of da sniper (open da file wid text editor finde da unit nd change its side 2 west (if da sniper is east) or east (if sniper is west) now make sure da sniper holds fire or he wil fire on first sight ;)
