hi im new to making my own levals for opp flashpoint and i was wondering how do you have a fire burning with out have to do it in-game  :P if this makes sence to any one can you plz help me thx

sorry - but thats my fave question - its the first one nearly every1 asks...

now also make sure that your editor is in advanced mode - click in the top right to change from easy.

and then type into the init (initialization) field what Seeker said.

and by initialization he means the box in the menu when you double click on a fire ;)

welcome to the forums abyss ;)

just to add to the suggestions, the first thing you should do when you want to start editing for real is download the comref and the UCR (unofficial command reference) from the editor's depot. These are going to be invaluable, and all the commands available you will find there along with descriptions ;)

oh, and when you're getting serious, try a tutorial first. Johan Gustavsson's for instance is excellent, the very one that got me started :D

we've all been newbies, so don't be afraid to ask when you run into trouble. Ahem. Anyhow, welcome! ;)
