Well, since i cant seem to get a reply in the other thread about importing sebnam objects, i thought i would create another thread

I've read, and re-read the posts talking about, yet i still cant get it to work

I import the hexed version of the sebnam_object.pbo
(i took the correct numbers out, yadda yadda)
someone said to unpbo the file, then stuffpbo the file..
then when i "Add" it in wrpedit, i can see the folder, but when i click on it, all i see in the folder is the pbo file and the log file (the log file is of the unpbo session i believe)

It shows no objects whatsoever, just those two files

I am kinda wondering the same thing, but with different objects. I keep getting message like "cannot load model old (demo) format" in wrpedit. Are you getting similar messages or does something else happen? Hopefully someone can help us both.

i dont get an error at all, in fact, i can actually select the pbo inside the sebam_objects folder and place it on the map.. it wont show up, but it will act like it placed something

it makes no sense

1. Theres no reason what so ever to make a new topic, just post again on the other one, people won't know the answer any more if u post it 2 times.

2. It's very strange that the last one didin't work, cause it worked for me, and i think it is that way STT got the objects in his island, so make sure u used Pbodecryptor v1.5 to Unpbo the pbo, and try to stuffpbo it with pboTool. Then place it it in the addons folder, and add it in WRPedit...and just to make sure, it's the object pbo from nam pack 2, cause i know someone is still using the one from the first nam pack...

I think it ain't any other way to get the objects into the island...

I've had that happen as well. Have you tried taking your map after adding some of the objects and trying it in game? It could be that some of the objects don't show in Wrpedit but will show in game.

I've only used stuff pbo before so I'm not sure.

no, stuffpbo and pbotool is not the same.
go to editors depot and browse tools, then download pbotool, and then try it...

I read this on Binerize and wrpedit. I think it will solve my prob with the demo model thing, it may help U 2, have a look.

Now if I can just figure out how to use Binerize properly.

umm, i don't know, but i don't think u have to use binerize to get it to work, but u could try it...go to www.ofp.info and download something BinerizeIT, that will make it much easier to use binerize

umm, depends on what addon it is from...the one from seb nam pack i think is called something like seb_ctverec...something like the original forests...

I have a different problem guys...
I posted in the other post..then noticed this one..
I get the objects..
But in preview and ingame all objects except landtextures and camo net are white .....
Anyone had this...what we need is someone who can make objects .. specifically for island makers and maybe mission editor too..
tall jungle foilage..small bushes..medium  ....etc
sniper nest built into trees..w/ ladders
dirt bunker mounds w/ foilage and mg's..vc and us..wooden forts
rice paddies and a variety of grasses..(dense like  data 3d /"?RAKOSI")
POW camp objects..eg cage/cells ..and dead animals..for atmosphere..

SANTA didnt come to me so heres to hoping...

hmm, me and Hawkins is gonna try to make some buildings for nam islands...only problem is, we're both new with O2, but Hawk seems to be pretty good with it, and he can make texture, something i can't :-\
anyway, so we'll see if the buildings get any good ;D
I'm more kinda island maker, so when/if we get it done, i'll try to make an island with SEB and ours objects...
