To place an empty unit double-click where you want it then where it says "West" click it and scroll down to select empty. Choose the unit like normal and there you go!

You need to have already placed the player unit onto the map to allow you to select from the extented side menu.

or if it's the very first unit you're placing on the map you'll need to change the player to a non-player.  :P ;D

Sorry Artak,

but as long as no player unit is present, you can't
access the enhanced features in the editor.
Even if there has already been a player, but deleted or
changed to anything else later.

Changing the player into a non-playable unit, would
just setup the vehicle to be AI controlled instead of
desired: empty

Also, you can't change the side of an already existing unit.
What i mean is: you can't change a western truck into an
empty truck.

Try it Chris Death.  ;) It really works  ;D

Double click the very first unit.

First set the Control to non-playable.

Then select the side to empty.
(after done this you'll notice how the control option and the rank option disapeares)

Then click OK.
(the editor says "no player selected" and offers you a box to click ok)

Click OK again on this and voilá, there you have it. An empty unit with no player on the map

 :wow:  ;D
Not all is lost.
