RESPAWN!

Well.. I cant get the respawn thing to work right! Every time I die, I respawn into a stupid bird..  :-\

Ive placed the file as i read it in the other topics..
I placed it ihere:
C:\Program Files\Codemasters\OperationFlashpoint\Users\MYNAME\missions\playground.Abel\description.ext

In the .ext file i wrote:

respawn=2;
respawndelay=20;

Is that right?

you probably know this but you dont put the word code into the file... all that would go in is the:

respawn=2;
respawndelay=20;

I can think of 2 possible probs:
Ensure the description.ext isn't actually named description.ext.txt, notepad is bad for doing that...

If you saved the mission to mp before you added the description.ext then you have to go to the \opf\mpmissions and delete it, then go back to the mission editor and re-save it as a mp mission.  Apparently the game won't overwrite a file with the same name.

And how can I see if its a ext.txt file?

Ok forget it.. It was the .ext.txt "error"...
I fixed it, and now the respawn works.. But..
When i respawn, i start the same place i was killed.. What can i do, so the players will respawn the same place, as they started in the beginning of the game?
