Few questions
« on: 10 Dec 2002, 22:53:06 »
Hello, let's start...

1 ) How can I fade my scene out with BLACK OUT while the camera is moving.

What I not mean is
The camera is moving cause it's following a moving target.
What I mean is :
The camera is moving because it's moving to new static position like a marker or etc...

Where can I place Titlecut ["","BLACK OUT",3] to this happen?

2 ) What's the use of Cam Camsetdir heading or Cam Camsetdive

The use is obvious, but where can I place this line??

3 ) What's the use of cam camcommand "insertia on" (or something like that, i dunno 4 sure)

[begging mode]Plz help me...[/begging mode]

Hmm, not 100% certain on the first question there.

1)

If you want the picture to go black, and then the camera jumps to it's new place

titleCut["","BLACK OUT",3]
~3

CameraName CamSetPos newpos

titleCut["","BLACK IN",3]
~3

If you want the camera to move, and the picture to fade down while it moves

titleCut["","BLACK OUT",3]

cameraName CamSetPos newpos
camCommit 3

2) There is none. To my knowledge, those two commands aren't working.

3) There is no such command to my knowledge.

On the questions of 2) and 3), I say this:

You can achieve nearly the same results with the standard commands as with those commands, just might take a bit longer.

Sorry to be so disappointing ;)
