Hello

I'm just saying hi cuz I'm new to the forums and had an esoteric question regarding HEAT rounds. (I know, I know, it's not editing). Anyways, Heat stands for High Explosive Anti Tank, but in the manual description, it says anti-personnel? If it is AT, then when do you use HEAT and when sabot? Thanks.

They are anti-tank, because they have a steel core which melts and breaks though the armor of the tank. The SABOT fires a small metal dart to pierce armor. In OFP, the only difference is that SABOT does more damage, but HEAT effects a larger area.

Yee, asked myself the same question O_O
anyway, HEAT rules against personel, SABOT does not.
And they are thaaaaat long to reload, and if you want to switch ammo..
well it takes ages... ( ;) )

Personally, i think tanks are to much unflexible,
i preffear to run around with one of this handy G36's
and some LAW rockets + these lovely C4 thingys  8)

No Armor, no personell can resist to that combination, he he heh  8)

errr... well, this was OT again ;D ;D ;D

Welcome to the forums Jabani, OFPEC only deals with editing and we don't have a off topic board so unfortunatly this is off topic, and that means I'm going to lock it ;D you should post this sort of thing at the official forums.
