hi there Maurek.  K DSL then it's ok. better.  The update will be released today or tommorrow (it depends what time Cervo comes back) over at the ofp.info.

Cervo said that he'll upload my map in 2 different way.  First is with the base file and the upgrade files all packed into 1 file (for those first time users of my map) and second is by uploading the upgrade packs.  I recommend that you should just wait till the single packed version comes out.  Then you DL the Packed version (the base files with the upgrade files in it) rather than DLing the current one (outdated version) on their site then Dling the upgrade pack (much more easier.) But in the future you'll have to DL the upgrade pack then unpbo the catintro.pbo then move all the files into the catintro then stuff it back into catintro.pbo.  I'm going to take Norsu's words and going to make a separate .pbo called catintroupgrade.pbo (this one will have a way smaller file size) so it'll be shorter to unpbo and repack the file ;)

Arrggg I'm still waiting for Cervo to come back............. come back comback Cervo come back. I can't wait for you to come back ::)

Gday Guys...

Fan-Fu*king-tastic....i finally got it with GET RIGHT..(no pun this time)
CAT...superb....one word is all thats needed....
Ive also used the Objects with WRPedit...a few minor texture glitches on some objects..ive tried all and they work well...GREAT WORK..(thats more than one word eh?)...
One ? though..the city block textures seem to be low-res and the main ones are high res..this right? If so please do a high res version..blood stains are great....
I will work on my map tonight and post a few screenshots then...

Good news guyz!! Cervo is back and Ace sent him a mail asking him to release the upgraded versiojn tommorrow!! :D   I hope he will because I know people wants it and I want people to get it to ;) that's it night.

LOL sorry forgot to answer your question Mad Aussie ;D

The city block textures will be "TOTALLY" renewed.  That is totally outdated.  I just included it just incase I used it somewhere in the island in the past when I was still building my first Afghan map.  So to not make people experience any of those white textures in ground... ;)  The blood stains will be a custom model and I'll make some default placed in the island and I'll make it easy to access so people could easily add those blood stains in the mission editor ::)  We still need more and more texturer and modellers :D We're recruiting basically anyone that made an addon b4.  Doesn't really matter if the quality is low or high, we could help you in the process of building.  We're sooo desperate that we will also acccept babies hands, helps what ever (I forgot the quote.)

I just downloaded the updated map.

haha aww man, on the old map I created this mission which was totally coolness and I was very proud of.  I loaded it into this map and the village its based in has been changed LOADS.  Theres even a river in the middle of the battle field.

But this map is very good.

I think you now it the bridge the elevation is wrong and the little town why you removed it I liked that one a lot and the roads from the first beta was very cool this old orginal roads does not fit change them back to the old one ;)

Yeah a lots and lots of changes.. sorry.  If you have read the readme (I hope it was with the upgrade pack or the single packed version) but the road is just temporary, I'm making a custom road model and trying to make it work in the road tool that cupidmoon made ;) (I gotta ask him personally how to do this one though) so the concrete road in the map, I'm gonna replace it with the road that was originally in the map as I learn how to use this tool more.  The bridge problem I found out how to fix it so Robo in our team is making a new bridge with more better textures.  

I'm not sure if I deleted any villages but I did sure change the elemation of those place so it'll look more Afganish (correct word?) Oh well if you guyz'll like a flat area, don't worry I still have 60~70 percent more to finish in the terrains ;P  I'll leave some valleys to :D

Yes. In one place (around GB75) I hear that ther entire village, which was terrific, was removed. How come? That was a great location for Nagual's mission. :(

Just downloaded the updated complete PBO file. The readme says that you are making an anim cutsene requiring various addons. May I suggest not doing this? It's just not appropriate to force people to download other addons for an island's addon scene, unless those addons are built-in to the island's PBO (for example, Kegetys' Winter Nogojev Island).

Also, could you separate the textured Afghan desert map from the separate snow map? That should reduce the overall size of the download file in the future.

hmm various addons huh? I got the same kind of clame from someone else so I updated that and only used the default units.  Hmm :-S I think somehow the updated cutscene wasn't included in the new upgrade pack.  

 :o :oOh crap, sorry people  I accidently deleted that strip in GB 75.  I promise that I'll have a more new, dense village at the location.  Very sorry.  But you guyz will see more new buildings and taste to it.  I'm using a new custom model building which has 3  Resolution Lod with minimum poly and face counts so I am able to place objects densely.  You guyz'll be able to have more CQB combats :D

Very cool map great work on texture and object except the road released with the update pack
that road is cuted on some place by house ,stone and sometime on some hills she get a 10° position close from vertical  :-\can you fix that bug plz
so we 're gonna be able to play on the best map i ever seen

k guyz I removed the roads for now.  I added a dense urbanized village at Ei 80 and will ask my team mates if I could release this upgrade pack with removed roads, updated cutscene (which will only use default units,) and some dense city in 2 parts of my island :D  I'll like to post some pictures but the file limit is 50KB and to see the quality of the buildings and the density, I gotta set the resolution a little bit high........ So I'll ask the ofp.info to post some pictures.  Sorry for the inconvenience. :-[

I'm still working very hard, releasing upgrade packs almost daily and getting many suggessions from my team mates ;) with the help from them and everyone, I'll be able to make this map one of the best one for OFP.

Thanks (gotta contact my team mates concerning another upgrade pack in such a short time.)

You know what Morpheous? When i read this kind of fucking text i don't see why we lose time to update english section for dumbasses like you. No one in ofp.info team speak english as his mother language, we try our best and if you are unhappy create your own news site but i'm sure you'll give up when you'll see  the amount of work and time it requires.
