 :o :o :o SFG,,,,,,,, actually that is a great idea!!!  Maybe I could add another entrance at the top of the cave.... you have to use the ladder to get in from the top and the get to the "EXIT" located on the surface of the cliff........  Ahah,,,,, I'm gonna try that out... :-)  I'll try it out tommorrow since it's late already.  I was giving some improvements to my past models.... some buildings, the windows and doors will shine in night :-)

aaah, btw:
are you going to improve your storm effects, as there are more possibilities since 1.75.... i think your effects came out before ofp:r, right?
anyways, this island is gonna kick ass, keep it up   :)

ye, i think its a good idea to make some windows shine, or maybe make them editable, via the "object xxxxx inflame true/false" command, if thats possible

great, do you know how the IA will perform with those caves ?
(I mean enter them, move and/or stay in them...) ?

AI will of course have problems in those caves, just like it has in basic OFP buildings. But with some nice scripting and setpos -commands a good mission maker can make good missions to those caves ;).

Actually, the AI so far ain't having a problem moving around the cave.  I made the cave as a "building" so by setting the waypoint to where ever position of the cave, your AI will move there :-)  Now I'm making the 2nd entrance of the cave.... :-)

Actually, before the storm,,, I was wondering if it is possible to make a more realistic explosion effect.  Since resistance we had the water effect.... So by making a texture which looks like bunch of tiny dirts, the explosion will shoot up a lot of dirts into the air and eventually comes back down to the ground.... If anyone here played medal of honor, the allied assault they will understand what I'm talking about.  It is the first stage, the D-Day invasion.

The storms, how should I improve it?? Does anyone know how to make a custom textured smoke??

If anyone could tell me, I might get it improved and add it to my afghan map.

hehe you got that right buddy and i am one of those mission makers whos gonna be making missions on it first before anyone gets his hands on it.
Infact we can make the AI guard the caves entrances too by a script and then randomly try and find its partner and regroup when undr attack and also try and follow th player through those caves without the player knowing hehe wicked am i!


And cat could you make those caves with one entrance but lots of fake exits which could result ina fatal (shall we say accident down the edge  ;D) that would be good too and get some valleys in the map too.

Damn I play Tactical Ops:Assault On Terror and there are some user made maps and offical desert maps and the building look like these really impressive work CAT_HIT_ONE_MM m8  ;)
This would be the best map ever :o 8)

LOL Hovmand.  Yeah that's a good idea to buy more RAMs because you'll need atleast 256 if you want a smooth game.  I want athlon processors now because I heard that athlons are better for game play.  P4 is more for office use. The new 3D bench Mark software gave me a bench mark of 789 on my P4 1.8Ghz 512RAM GeForce 3 Ti 300. While the guy with athlon 1.8Ghz with same other spec had 1083.  Dang.... I have to go and buy Athlons  ;D

Oh yeah guyz, if you guyz went over the the cz site you guys will notice it but a nice new mech is out.  I made a short mission using those mechs and darn,,,, those guyz were ripping us into pieces.... You'll seriously fear them when they're moving in group and turning their upper body and facing the vulcan towards you.... ofcourse in my afghan map where there's a lot of dense grass to hide in....  Another picture of building will be posted in another 4 hours (almost finish with it.)

Looks so good I dont know if im looking at GR or OFP...GREAT WORK
2 things..
Firstly..Will the objects be useable after downloading..either in mission editor or unencrypted for use in WRP edit...
Secondly.. Your landscapes (and objects) look fantastic...did you only use terragen/wilbur and WRPedit??
Keep going HARD..   :)
